She has her cosmetology license and has been in the field of dentistry for 20 years and massage therapy for 5 years. 8 Things you must know before your Appointment
- When having permanent eyeliner - If you wear contacts, plan to remove them for your appointment. Please bring a case, contact solution and your glasses.
- Refrain from drinking alcohol for 48 hours before your appointment.
- Avoid all blood thinning medications/supplements before your appointment. ALWAYS consult with your physician before stopping use of prescription medication.
Examples include:
• Aspirin • Vitamin E • B6 • Omega 3 • Ginko Biloba • St. John’s Wort • Ibuprofen Tumeric fish oil, garlic, ginger, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, green teas, red clover . Should be discontinued 7 days prior to getting your service.
- If you’re having permanent eyeliner, avoid eyelash enhancements for at least 6 months before as they cause your skin to be thinner, increase bleeding and decrease the effectiveness of numbing agents.
- Please avoid exfoliating, waxing, threading or tweezing.
- Wait until after your permanent cosmetics have healed to schedule chemical peels, abrasions or any other treatments that irritate the skin, or re appling eyelash extensions.
- Avoid tanning, including spray tans several weeks prior to your appointment. If you get a sunburn, please reschedule.
- Refrain from having botox or fillers at least 2-3 weeks before your appointment
